Hello Texinfo friends,

I've released texinfo 4.7.90, the first pretest for the next Texinfo
version to (gzip):
  ftp://alpha.gnu.org/gnu/texinfo/texinfo-4.7.90.tar.gz
  http://texinfo.org/pretest/ftp/texinfo.tar.gz
and (bzip2):
  ftp://alpha.gnu.org/gnu/texinfo/texinfo-4.7.90.tar.bz2
  http://texinfo.org/pretest/ftp/texinfo.tar.bz2

NEWS below.

Unfortunately, I am leaving an even larger backlog of bug reports and
feature requests than usual, but I wanted to make a release for the
upcoming teTeX 3.0. If any of you need something strongly, please let
me know.

Please test if time and inclination, and report problems to
texinfo-pretest at texinfo.org.

Thanks,
karl at gnu.org
