my mind is different.  ;-)

I think it can be ``practical'' to make a LaTeX implementation of texinfo.
But, of course every command would have to be rewritten and I cannot
afford to volunteer for that much work.

(If a publisher wanted to publish a texinfo book and wanted to have it
stylable by their own LaTeX classes, they might sponsor this development.
But they would probably require some *ML instead nowadays.)

Thus it is much practical to hope for a Christmass gift from Torsten.  ;-)
